Packing to go out of town is a simple process but I inevitably pack more reading material than underwear. This past weekend, after an embarrassingly lengthy decision process, I decided to forego multiple (and possibly disappointing) titles for one trusty, loved writer. After my mild disappointment in A Gate at the Stairs it’s taken me a long time to come back to Moore and, while everything to love is on display here, I find myself longing for the more succinct nature of the stories in Self-Help.
